Well ... the Angels lost. They failed to execute. Pure and simple. THEN my grandson text messaged me "Whatta Game"..... well THAT put it into perspective and I totally agree, it was an awesome ballgame and a great season for the Angels. But, I'm a VERY competitive guy. I just wanted to KILL somebody. I'm very critical of people that should perform and don't. And even more critical of people that should know what or how to accomplish a task and can't or don't. Players fall into that category for me. I appreciate EFFORT, but effort never won a ball-game. Only execution. Players that can't or don't execute are just uniform holders.
Ok, so I went into the bathroom and let out a VERY animal arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!! That seemed to set the tone for me. Then I let DeAndre know that I love him VERY much and I still expect those TWO touchdowns on Saturday!! hahahahahahha .....

Halloween and Pumkin Carving
Every year since my first grandson, DeAndre, was about 8 years old [he is 15 now], I have sat down with my him and carved pumkins for Halloween. Now I know that my years are numbered with DeAndre .... not too many grandsons these days want to hang out with grandpa and carve pumkins. But I'm holding out for him at least one more year.
But, in any case, my next grandson, Noah [who is 4] will make a great next carver! He is my carver in training! :)
